letting the police have guns has certainly increased my likelihood of getting shot. things like stand your ground has certainly made it clear that shooting someone first and asking questions later is a sound policy.

why would i assume that letting MORE people have guns, legally or not, wouldn't increase my chances of getting shot?

lol okay. all those countries that banned guns and now have lower violent crime rates and gun deaths are all just statistical anomalies.

reality says that if everyone was armed like yosemite sam we would see no statistical difference in violent crime or gun deaths.
