7 year old kid suspended for pop tart shaped gun

Gosh I'm not old and I remember in grade school, like 2nd grade, a bunch of us making paper guns and even holsters and we'd walk around school like that. We had shootouts at recess, we'd always shoot the girls.

Did anyone play "war" as a kid? I remember being a bit older, maybe 5th grade, with fake guns or unloaded BB guns and going to "war" in the neighborhood. 3 on 3 or 2 on 2 was the norm, depending on how many kids in the neighborhood didn't have homework or finished their homework that day. That was so fun. My gun of choice was a plastic sawed off shotgun. Oh yea!

My gun was gun. Either a BB or pellet gun. Unloaded of course. Usually, sometimes, maybe.

We used to put on goggles and shoot each other with BBs. It was fun and nobody got hurt.

I let my GF's kid shoot me with his airsoft. He went for the bare legs that bastard. Stung a little but great fun for the kiddos

I used to play paint ball near SD after college class in the 90's, never got into airsoft. I liked to huint down birds, bats and other animals with my bb gun in my grandpa's farm back in the 70's and 80's.
