As long as the sale is within your state, and to another person from the same state, it is perfectly legal. No background check is required.

Can't have it both ways. If you are a gun owner who says they are against criminals and the mentally ill having guns, then you can't be for the system we have now.

As I pointed out I am not a gun owner.. But I in NO WAY want to see all guns banned, or the 2nd amendment repelled.

BUT as you also pointed out, the system we have now needs work and needs to be addressed.

This is not directed at you. But what pisses me off is as soon as ANYONE mentions the inadequacies in our current system some in the pro-gun crowd whip out the pictures of Mao, Hitler and Stalin.. As if they have anything to do with what's going on in this country nowadays.. It's just a scare tactic, but it works.
