I wonder how big this incident is going to be once the NRA jumps in. Of course that's assuming they do come to his defense. I can't imagine why they wouldn't.

This is just f**k dense beyond belief. All aboard the Crazy Train I guess. Demonizing gun-control rhetoric, ridiculous publicity stunts, arrests like this, e.t.c... this stuff is only gonna amp up as time passes. They're shaming gun owners into submission, and IMO it's a long term plan. Right now the propaganda machine is in 1st gear only. Just watch as all the incremental, insidious news stories, facebook memes, and ridiculous police actions divide people more and more, until we're all merely compartmentalized into one of 2 things; either "peace-loving Americans" or "gun-crazed extremist nuts".
Judging by everything I've seen lately, they're seeking nothing less than to demonize every single aspect of gun ownership, until our very right to self protection becomes subject for ridicule and nothing but fodder for liberal speeches/press conferences.

Then Moron #1 should sue Moron #2 for false arrest. He will still be a moron but he won't be in jail as one.
