I know this is older news but I decided to bring it out again. My senator got over 200 letters from my family and friends , militia members and a small hunting group opposing the signing of this anti 2nd amendment treaty. Her name is on the list of 51 senators who vowed to oppose it if asked to ratify it. I was surprised as she is a democrat but can see she does not follow Levin around as her vote splits my state on every gun issue. Levin is for banning all pistols(he has introduced over 40 bills to do so) Stabinow has opposed them. Both are Democrats. I see there may be hope for the democratic party if enough conservatives can get entrenched there. My fear is reflected in the link article. Will they just wait until Obama is re elected? My guess is we will see this treaty surface again.
