I can't see Intel making any headway here really. It be another failed Intel project they probably loose easy couple million and move on something else.
As far as going a la carte goes I am all for it. But sacrifices have to be made for such a thing to happen all around from customers/viewers side to the tv/producer side. Pretty sure a season pass sort of thing is pretty much the way to go here maybe with pay per episode. As far as price goes I am thinking something like $20 to $30 for a season pass and say $5 or abouts for per episode. Mind you this is without commercials. When it comes to see if one will like the new tv program, the first 15 minutes could be shown for free to give a taste. I am thinking each season be about 10 or so shows, which basically works out to $2 to $3 per show on a season pass. There be other things like less special effects and props, which may or may not be a bad thing, tho it can hurt or help a show. I know Battlestar Galactica had a limit budget and such special effects where quite limited but it had one hell of a story and more watched it for the story than anything.
