The MacBook Air is made for people who want minimal ports, no internal drives, long battery life and lightweight. Those who want more ports will buy the MacBook Pro. Yes, I prefer OS X. I also think that Windows should give their operating system away. They just dumped support for Windows XP and will soon be dumping the support for Windows 2003. Anyone still using those, will have to purchase Windows 7 or Windows 8.
