Green bean galaxies

Green is a very unusual color in astronomy virtually only ever seen in planetary nebula - so to see whole galaxies glowing green is fascinating

Yeah and there is a lot of it judging by the glow. I can see how it gets ionized - just how it got there is the weird bit

No kidding. Free oxygen is a rare thing to begin with...that much of it kinda boggles the mind.
