Posted: Wed Feb 06, 2013 6:29 pmi don't know that it's just hiv (which is easily preventable by simple behavior anyway). but the point is, blocking an enzyme's function could have unintended consequences

Posted: Thu Feb 07, 2013 8:15 amIf high levels of APOBEC3B indicate a higher risk of breast cancer, and a simple blood test can determin this, I wonder if they can find a way to dial back the production of this enzyme to normal levels, instead of just blocking it; do a little therapy on the APOBEC3 genes.
