Read it a couple of times, still not quite sure who did what when, but it looks as if Amazon required the same price parity clause that Apple got after Apple got it?
Anyway, I personally do not care about the big publishers at all, they are going to continue their downward slide into the abyss where they belong. I have been reading almost exclusively quality Indy Authors/Small Publishers via the Kindle (probably 30 something books so far this year). I think I've paid more than $4.99 for one such book, most are at $2.99 or less. I am happy. I have 3-4 legacy authors that I will continue to buy their books via mainstream publishers, but that is it.
