I love it how a Mexican educated in Wales created the actual theory behind ftl.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguel_AlcubierreI understand though the basic problem of warp bubble theory is that the bubble needs to be generated from outside of the bubble itself. so you could build a sort of train track, but star trek style under its own steam stuff is not possible. Or am I wrong on this.

I hate to be the rain parade machine, but i'm looking into it and still not seeing anything that overcomes the fundamental problem of generating the bubble, from within the bubble.
