I barely remember the last few Apollo missions (in that I didn't entirely understand what they were doing or why it was so cool), but I do vividly remember one of them when a group of adults at the after school care place I went to was watching it on TV and they were all excited. I also remember getting really excited for the first space shuttle launch. What they just did IMO ranks up there.
