I tried to find a good poll done in Canada so I could rub my inferiority complex all over your faces. But all I could find is that 58% of Canadians believe in evolution, 22% believe in creationism, and the remainder don't know.

They should toss out the evolution question. Not that I dispute evolution, to the contrary, it is science. But it doesn't give us insight into general education as many who disbelieve evolution do so purposefully, not out of lack of exposure or education.

think of how many people have probably never left the city they were born in. never went to college. coasted through high school, entertain themselves with television and cheap beer.

there are A LOT of serfs in the US. and i doubt any of them have picked up a brief history of time lately.
