Ok well lets look at the political voice the Tea Party is given in the US, they would be looked at as nut jobs over here in Western Europe. The Republican Party as a whole would be looked upon as a bit insane to be honest. Both for being far too conservative. I know there will of course be examples in Western Europe of politicians of a very conservative political leaning, but as an example the whole Todd Akin saga. How he is running for the US senate is beyond me. Rick Santorum making it that far in the race to become Republican Presidential candidate with his very conservative views is another one. Ultimately I think it is down to the Republican Party. But they are your biggest party in the House of Representatives and the typical views of the Republican Party I don't believe would be accepted here anywhere near as much as they are in the US, primarily down to their conservative views.
