I'll make it clear: making them a cake does not break any laws. Having a wedding ceremony that isn't sanctified by the state does not break any laws. It is 110% okay for a gay couple to kiss and make vows to one another, even in a religious setting. There is nothing at all illegal about what this couple was doing - period, end of story. This means your "supporting illegal activities" argument is garbage, as is your hilariously inept comparison of polyamory and homosexuality.

On the other hand, refusing service on the basis of sexual orientation does, in fact, break the law. Which is why the courts found agaist the owner, and why your trolling nonsense is irrelevant.

It's also not illegal to have a "I Love Heroin" party using symbolic heroin, but it's also understandable for a bakery owner to refuse to make a "I Love Heroin" cake due to the actual act of using heroin being illegal.

You see it as an owner refusing to provide service on the grounds of sexual orientation, while he is only refusing service to symbolic rebellions against the law.

Illegality has nothing to do with it. It is about morality.

If you are an environmentalist and the keystone pipeline planning commission wants to hire you to make a cake commemorating the opening of the pipeline, as a bakery owner you should be able to say no.

If you are a bakery owner and find homosexuality immoral you should be allowed to refuse service to them.

I think we are at the point where we no longer need to force tolerance onto people.
