its already happening though, everything a human can do a machine or a software program can do better and technical development accelerates as it progresses so we are entering an era of profound social change, whether you recognize the trend or not. human labor is becoming obsolete in the context of advanced industrial civilization

most of the jobs being replaced pay ranging from $38,000 to $68,000 so those aren't "poors" that work at taco bell who are losing their jobs

I simply wouldn't patronize a restaurant that did this. I generally avoid using self checkouts in grocery stores as well.

I understand the convenience. Its the principle of the thing. People are going to wind up replaced by robots eventually. Doesn't mean I have to cheerfully participate.
