Even the FBI data indicates that a white person has as good a chance at getting struck by lightening as they do being killed by a black person.

Who said anything about being afraid? Recognizing risk is not fear. I'm not scared to drive to work every morning, but I still prefer safe cars, especially when there is nothing to lose.
