People should have the right to die no matter what their state of health is or quality of life. It is their body after all and they should be able to do with it as they please.

I think a qualified professional should have to determine that the individual in question understands what they are doing and then they should be allowed to go for it.

I don't see why we should tell people what is and isn't a good reason to end your life. Like I said, the important thing is that a qualified professional has verified that the person understands the consequences of what they're about to do. Then they can put themselves down if they wish. It's not like they'll regret it.

Alright, then maybe we should decide for the guy paralyzed from the neck down that he doesn't have a legitimate claim. After all, he can still read a nice book, or chat with his family, or enjoy some music, or taste some delicious food. He had no right to kill himself.
