After reading the above article I think it would be a goo idea if we could strip disabled people of their human rights so as to facilitate euthanasia programs across the world. Mentally and physically disabled people are a huge burden to government healthcare systems as well as to their families. I think the best way to solve this situation is if these people are tested and have been confirmed that they are unproductive members of society (Down syndrome, autistic, severe disabilities, etc) then they should be put to sleep. We could save a huge amount of money with this idea.

marginal humans don't have rights to begin with. they're more like animals and need protection, however, unlike animals, had it not been for some defect they would be rational beings while an animal never would have. further they could be cured at some point in the future, depending on the disability. but in the interim they do have value as traders, which animals never could. for example people with down's syndrome can be functional members of society and provide a useful service to other people, i.e., sean hannity

The state shouldn't have the right to decide who can live and who can die. That is the worst service that statism has to offer.
