if he would have used his brain instead of trying to use force he may have avoided injury
when you are dumb and do things in a dumb way people tend to get hurt

Southern, why do you keep conflating assaulting an officer to what Eric Garner did? Resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer are two totally different crimes. It would be as if you saw a guy jaywalk and then after crossing the street he punched an old lady in the face, so you say "SEE WHAT JAYWALKING LEADS TO?!"
Garner passively resisted arrest. You've since brought him up both in this thread where we look at a vehicular assault and in another thread talking about guys who were firing guns at police officers. Garner is not relevant to either of those situations.

i dont think this woman was "resisting arrest". this is "fleeing peace officer". for example mn st ยง609.487 is about fleeing a police officer
https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/?id=609.487 sub. 4 is about this thing specifically, and if their state has the same laws as minnesota, this is a 5-7 year sentence and 10-14K in fines, in addition to any other charges (such as DUI)

Real petty/trivial crap like selling a cigarette can make you subject to arrest these days. So the question is , wtf is up with that?
