"Increased costs due to ACA", look it's unavoidable. People have to have their healthcare paid for in some fashion. Eliminating jobs or not providing benefits will only make the problem worse.

I like these apps/ideas. But it's wholly irrelevant to me. I don't frequent fast food chains or fast food restaurants. It's getting too dehumanizing.

I generally avoid such disgusting restaurants anyway. If I'm going to eat gross junk food I support a local business in doing so.

I do not like subway and always opt for the local deli instead if I want a sandwich.

I don't quite get the app. I timed that video of the Taco Bell app. It took him 1:20 to order a single combo. Add in the time to pull over your car to safely order, activate your device, pull back into traffic, etc. and you're up near 2 minutes to make an order of a single combo. I can order that same combo in well under 15 seconds. "I need a 3-taco combo with a large diet Pepsi." Heck, that may take 5 seconds. So, why would I want to do it the way that takes longer?

Also, franchises aren't that bad. For McD's, the franchise fee is $45k, and they get 4% of sales. That means that 96% of your money stays local.
