We need one of these.
Okay so I've been trying a new thing that is supposed to increase your lifespan. Basically some people theorized thst the lower your average calorie count rhe longer you live, all else being equal. I've read some fairly convincing studies but if anybody wants to talk me out of it I'm all ears because it's been a difficult adjustment.
I bumped down my caloric intake to about 1500 calories a day. I'm maintaining weight somehow but I'm shedding muscle mass at an alarming rate. My milestone lifts have dropped maybe 5% since I started.
So I guess my question is how to observe a low caloric intake diet without losing muscle mass. I consume protein supplements and subsist primarily on nuts fruits vegetables and cottage cheese/Greek yogurt.
Also squats are the best lift ever and if you don't do them you are doing yourself a disservice.
Benching is fun but not useful.
Biking is lame.
