Holy shit I just watched this show. It's devastating. The industrial revolution and it's consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

Our lives are already so f**k up it would be beyond comprehension for someone from just 100 years ago. You could take this exact same plot set in today's modern world, only using old texts and Facebook pictures and twitter locations, and it would disgust and horrify someone from the 1940's. Absolutely devastating.
