why not just remove his ability to PM you and report posts? put him on permanent mod-approved posting. and for f**k sake don't let his sock accounts go unchecked for MONTHS before you decide to do something about them. pretty sure all or any of these would have alleviated a huge amount of the grief you're describing.

this forum has suffered for years from self-imposed problems. we all complain about issues and then when solutions are given, we go back to whipping ourselves over the problems. it's really annoying to see this happen so consistently.
