Lake Garda in the Italian alps is probably one of the most beautiful places in all Europe.

Italy is the shit and I've spent copious amounts of time all over that country. Couple of highlights I'd recommend that haven't been mentioned is Cinque Terra, San Giminano, Sienna, Frascati, Tivoli, and Verona. Rome is still the best, but Italy has got a lot going for it.

Someday the Mrs. is going to make me take her to Italy. I'm not sure the cost/reward ratio is there for me yet.
