Eh. Anything near the boards like that is definitely a cheap shot. I feel second hand pain whenever I see a play like that as a very similar play destroyed my shoulder elbow arm and collarbone. It's a bush league move.

Leafs playing like shit, but these f**k refs are incredibly bad. At least a half dozen penalties not called on the Bruins, and we're not even in the third. Of course it probably doesn't matter since the Leafs are once again falling apart in the endgame.

The Stars have got my milquetoast hockey interest piqued.

My son and I watched our first hockey game together (not in person). Was a great bonding moment for two non-hockey fans.

hockey requires a lot of luck because of how fast everything develops since its so fast, but also high skill in order to capitalize on all of that. it makes for exciting games to watch more than any other sport. for some people they find the experience unrivaled in person and they hate watching on TV. on tv, especially with high definition, it's easy to see everything as it is on tv imo, and even as a guy with season tickets i enjoy watching on TV as well. i just go to games to complain with people around me... anyway, next year they will make it easier for casual fans by reintroducing an admittedly better but still annoying as f**k puck tracker for all of the games (at least on NBC), and also put trackers in the jerseys of every player so it'll look like they are playing a video game (it's really awesome for replays, I really don't like it live though). and while it's great you're bonding with your boy and all over it, f**k norm green
