Brady's will be fine.. He's one of the best... But damn, the Pats receivers and running backs? Right now they don't look good.. But they're young, and not on the same page as Brady.. Gotta see what happens over the next few weeks..

Jets are just plain bad. I'm not a Jets fan, but being NY I've had to watch them a lot over the years. One of the biggest reasons they haven't won consistently is because they are undisciplined. They ALWAYS make a bad play or take a stupid penalty at just the wrong time, and many times it costs them the game.. Happens over and over again.. So IMO hiring Ryan, and very undisciplined coach, was a huge mistake.

What happened in the 4th quarter and at the end of the game didn't surprise me at all. One stupid mistake after another, and then a cheap shot and penalties after the game is lost. Typical.

How wrong of me to think that after that first TD he would light up the scoreboard.

You get so use to seeing Brady pick apart a D by using everyone, his TE's, his RB's, the WR's.. Everyone..

So watching last night's game was a shock, he had 1 guy, that was it.. The rest were for the most part invisible, and when he did target them they drop the passes.. Weird.

Needless to say, I was entertained and yet sympathetic to his ranting and frustrations on the sideline.

As for Geno Smith, he's a rookie and he'll eventually (hopefully) learn and get better as time goes on. It could've been worse, he could've butt fumbled.

IMO Geno's future is a backup QB somewhere.. He's never going to be a good starting QB..

That said I do feel sorry for any Jet QB.. I mean there is NO talent on that offense.. Not now, not the last 2 years.. Sanchez will never be a good starting QB either, but he had NO help.. Neither does Smith.

Then there's the Jets coaches.... Yesterday the Jets are running the ball pretty good, they have a rookie QB, and it is raining about as hard as it can rain.. So what do the Jets coaches call in the 4th quarter? Passing plays of course!! I mean WTF? In that weather, with a rookie QB just run the ball down the Pats throat.. But they kept passing, and kept getting intercepted..

When a QB misses his receiver 99% of the time the blame goes on the QB..But we all know that sometimes it is the receiver's fault. Wrong route..Wrong cut..He slows down..Mis-reads a blitz...Whatever..

In the case of Brady though he's been so good, and so accurate for 10 years when he misses I'm guessing it's the receivers fault.. Right NOW(that could change)I have to give Brady the benefit of doubt.

Brady and his receivers are not on the same page yet. Give them 5-6 weeks together, then we'll see.
