At least that whole Ross and Rachael thing got worked out.

This thread went from pho to ass to Ron Swanson to Friends. It's all kinda surreal.

Friends, now there's a show I'd like never to see again. Although the 90s had some real turds like Full House, Step by Step, even Family Matters.

Really the only good shows were Frasier and of course Fresh Prince of Bel Air, which was genius.

Frasier was fantastic. And of course....there was Married with Children. And Roseanne...which, though I know a lot of people seem to hate it, actually did elevate the sitcom thing. It was real, as opposed to the middle class ideal family crap that had come before.

Yeah, maybe married with children was a bit earlier but I don't remember it as well. But I could definitely see it and roseanne as tops, though I can't stand roseanne's voice.

If anything was surreal, it was Married with Children. Especially when the dog started talking.

I don't think anyone ever doubted she was a bitch.

Its was a show about working class people dealing with working class problems. Obviously there is a particular segment of the population that isn't going to relate, or agree politically, and would have preferred Leave it to Beaver or something.

Not for everyone.
