Much as I hate to say it, the Ravens D isn't what it used to be either. There was next to no pass rush at all last night, apart from getting 2 sacks on Brady, blitzes called at the wrong time and the coverage (well one corner in particular) can't cover anything. Terrell Suggs is greatly missed here.

Suggs (more than Ray Lewis) has been the driving force of the Ravens D for the past few years- its not the same unit without him.

I like how the Bears D is coming along, pity their so-called new look offense is as bad as it was when Martz was calling the plays.

Saints D stunk last year, but their offense bailed them out time and time again.. Not this year.. A team has got to have at least a little D, the Saints have none.

After week 1 RG3 said he was told not to run the ball all the time, to not take unnecessary hits.. The last 2 weeks that seems to be out the window.. He had about 100 yds. rushing yesterday. He'll be going the way of Vick and other running QB's, get beat-up and injured.. Wash. spends all that money on him, then has him running option plays.. Idiots..

The NFL will make more money on fines this week then it will take to settle the Ref. strike... A couple of Steelers will be fined.. Belichek will be fined.. And in the Houston v Denver game the Texan QB got hit so hard on a helmet to helmet hit his helmet came off and he lost a piece of his ear.. The Denver LB who hit him will be suspended and lose a bunch of money..

And that's just the 3 I can remember off the top of my head.. There's got to be more..

The Cowboys v Bucs game was a serious yawner. I was so bored watching it.

I'm glad the Cowboys were playing such a shitty team because they totally deserved to lose that one. Damn the Bucs offense is terrible, and they have equally bad playcalling to go with it.

That Pats v Ravens game last night was damn entertaining however. Good stuff.

Fact: The Ravens are the only decent team in the AFC North. They're shit this year. Browns keep losing close games. Cinci might be able to get an 8-9 win season. Steelers won't make the playoffs.

I didn't realize so many NFL QBs were from Texas until I heard it mentioned on the radio this morning. Funny how regions ebb and flow based on the talent they produce. Texas used to be known for it's RB's, now it's high schools are producing lots of excellent QBs. I heard a kid playing in Marble Falls (SW of Austin) put up something like 700 yds passing in one game this weekend. Holy shit.........
