Those Refs are asking for too much imo, they want $350K a year (plus a hefty full pension) for calling 1 3-hour game a week for say 22 weeks a year. They are starting to sound like those Detroit union workers now.

It's more like $150k. And they do more than just the 3 hours of game time.

I think it's fairly clear that they spend a hell of a lot of time training and watching VT to get as good as they are. If they only worked those three hours a week, the replacements wouldn't be any worse.

It doesn't matter how much time they do or don't put in, these past few weeks have shown that they are UNIQUELY QUALIFIED for the job, so they can go ahead and demand more for their services.

Rumor here in NY is an agreement has been reached, and the regular refs will be on the field on Sunday.. Like I said, after Thursday's mess Goodell probably got 8-10 calls from the owners telling him to fix this mess. In a way the NFL was lucky it was Green Bay that got screwed out of a win, because they don't have ONE owner, they don't have ONE spokeman.. They are community owned.... Imagine if that happened to Dallas? Jerry would be on TV screaming every hour. But I think even though GB doesn't have an 'owner' the other owners realized eventually it would happen to them too, so they called Goodell and told him to make a deal.. Quickly..

I also heard a bunch of eye doctors got together and offered the replacement refs who reffed the Thursday's game free eye surgery..

Anyway if these rumors are true, it's about time..

I heard it on 2 different NYC stations.. Agreed it is still 'just a rumor'.. But it's the best news we've heard since this 'lockout' began..
