IF IT WAS a simultaneous catch, then yes, Hail Mary or NOT the offense gets the ball, and it is a TD..

BUT since it wasn't a simultaneous catch, IMO because it was 'close' if the regular refs were doing the game because it was 'close' they would have given the benefit of doubt to the defense.. On a desperation, Hail Mary the D gets the benefit of doubt.

Oz you're quoting me the rule about a simultaneous catch.. That's cool, but it doesn't apply to what I was talking about.. But again, maybe I wasn't being clear..

It was good seeing a 'normal' game Thursday night.. It was fast, organized, very little BS..

It's amazing the different level of respect the players and coaches show the regular refs compared to what they showed towards the replacements..

BTW this past week Rex Ryan said it is possible Darrelle Revis will be back in time for the Super Bowl..

Thats because Rex Ryan is a younger version of his dad, I remember when Buddy Ryan became head coach of the Eagles after the Bears won the SB in 85 he was doing the exact same stuff.

What I'm watching today from the Jets is an embarrassment. SB? LOL, they'll be lucky to finish 8-8..

Before the season started I think I said the Jet fans and the 'talk' would be screaming for Tebow by the 5th week of the season.. I was off by a week..
