Maybe I'm not being clear..
IF IT WAS a simultaneous catch, then yes, Hail Mary or NOT the offense gets the ball, and it is a TD..
BUT since it wasn't a simultaneous catch, IMO because it was 'close' if the regular refs were doing the game because it was 'close' they would have given the benefit of doubt to the defense.. On a desperation, Hail Mary the D gets the benefit of doubt.
Oz you're quoting me the rule about a simultaneous catch.. That's cool, but it doesn't apply to what I was talking about.. But again, maybe I wasn't being clear..
