Lets make sure. Only now that they are in direct competition with internet services because of widespread broadband has it become a real concern.

Even though Netflick now pays Verizon and Comcast a fee to carry their service and stream it at a higher bandwidth Verizon has been caught throttling Netflick a few times..
Verizon alone has been caught padding its customers bills so many times I lost count, so yeah the corps. in the cable and the telecommunication industry has always been so upstanding and trustworthy I'm sure as the competition gets more intense they'll play fair.
