I don't expect Jason Bourne, but damn Hernandez really F'ed up.. I mean supposedly to destroy evidence he trashed his home security system, his laptop and his cell phone.. I'm sure they all cost $1,000's... Yet he saved his hat and hoodie worth maybe $50?!?! LOL

Anyway this is a common theme, and problem we hear about with athletes, and entertainers. Hanger'ons from the 'old neighborhood'.. I read that Patriot players said Hernandez never hung around with other players from the team, he only hung around with and kept tight with his friends from his old neighborhood.. That usually spells disaster.. Even without this incident in 10 years the hanger-ons would have spent all of Henandez's money and he'd be dead broke and probably end up in jail anyway.

Yeah but stuff like tampering with mail is also a felony. Is that worthy of being banned from the NFL for?

1. If I create a league Pick'Em for the NFL this year, will y'all join? Just for fun to see who can do best. Pick'Em is not fantasy football, it's picking games each week

2. If so, would you want to just pick who wins each game or include NFL Spreads?

I'll get in, but a 3rd way you might want to consider scoring is:

For example there are 16 games in week 1.. I think the easiest most sure thing game to pick is the Colts beating the Raiders.. Colts are good, and at home, and the Raiders suck.. So I pick the Colts.. If the Colts win I get 16 points.(because there are 16 games).. My 2nd pick might be Pats beating the Bills. Bills never, ever beat the Pats.. If I am right I get 15 points for that game.. My 3rd pick would be worth 14 points.. And right down to 1 point.. Obviously the 1 point game would be a game where both teams are very equal and I'm not sure who would win.. Maybe Chiefs at Jags..

They are straight up picks, no spread.. Who ever has the most points for that week wins. It adds another element to picking.. Someone may pick less games right, but still win the week because their top picks won, while some other guys 15 and/or16 point pick may have lost..

It's your pool.. Score it however you want.. I just thought I'd throw this out there.

Besides that I'd vote for straight up picks, no spread.
