I don't think the Slurs are beating anyone in these last two weeks (in which we both play them). But if the Cowboys lose to the Colts I will be pretty nervous about us dropping the last game against the Giants. People think they aren't gonna play us hard in week 17 with nothing on the line for them at the end of a season they'd love to forget. The way I see it, they had a lot of optimism for how their season might go heading into Week 6 and we Sonned them into oblivion, kicking off a 7 game losing streak for them that ruined their season and will likely end Coughlin's tenure with the Giants if not Eli's as well. For the core members of this Giants team, a chance to deny the Eagles a playoff berth may be the most meaningful game they've had in quite a while.

One more thought on Sunday Night's Tragedy. Everyone is getting all over the Eagles for losing against the Cowboys and letting a successful season be taken out of our hands. But we already stole a win from them on Thanksgiving that we weren't supposed to get. The real reason Dallas is now in an advantageous circumstance to take the division and the Eagles will likely go 11-5 and not even get a wild card is that they beat Seattle and we didn't. We don't have the tiebreaker against any of the other NFC teams in the hunt for a WC, nor would we need it had we managed to beat any of them. Division games are huge, obviously, but conference games are a big deal too.
