The movie had it weaknesses (Finn’s whole thread for instance) but it wasn’t terrible at all. It’s somewhere in the middle to upper middle of the Star Wars pantheon.

As I tried to say earlier BEFORE Galt poo-pooed on me, the silent scene after Laura Dern engaged the hyperdrive was pretty sublime, especially for a f**k Star Wars movie.

The Last Jedi movie could also be about the life of Jed Clampett after losing an eye. But it ain't. :ar!

My rating: 5/10.

Some genuinely incredible visuals. Some decent and funny moments. But overall pretty meh. Disney is gonna play safe with this franchise forever and mediocre is the name of the game moving forward.
