Ryan getting Sanchez hurt in pre-season was a stroke of genius. It saves them next season, probably. He should get props for that, not ridicule.
He drafted offense in the 2nd round and stuff. It's dumb to look at the 1st round alone (especially since he go good talent there).
I think you overstate how much coaches matter in drafting, especially after round 1. Sanchez didn't pan out, what can you do? Bradford didn't for the Rams, either. Freeman for the Bucs. It happens.
You need a QB in this league for the most part and the Jets whiffed on one of what was at the time a "safer" QB pick. His teams have still been decent. Hell, weren't they 6-6 at one time. He should have been in COTY running at that moment.
