Ryan getting Sanchez hurt in pre-season was a stroke of genius. It saves them next season, probably. He should get props for that, not ridicule.

He drafted offense in the 2nd round and stuff. It's dumb to look at the 1st round alone (especially since he go good talent there).

I think you overstate how much coaches matter in drafting, especially after round 1. Sanchez didn't pan out, what can you do? Bradford didn't for the Rams, either. Freeman for the Bucs. It happens.

You need a QB in this league for the most part and the Jets whiffed on one of what was at the time a "safer" QB pick. His teams have still been decent. Hell, weren't they 6-6 at one time. He should have been in COTY running at that moment.

I may be the only person in the world who says this, but I really want Romo to tell his haters to f**k themselves. Has dude choked at times? Sure. So has every QB in league history. He is def far from the biggest choker at his position in the NFL. The Cowboys have 8 wins this season and for the past 3 seasons because Romo is a damn good QB. He is a historically slow starter in games, but he is quality and the Cowboys and their dumb fans should be grateful to have him when teams like the Browns went through 3 QBS, all of which sucked, this season. Too many Cowboys fans eat up the narrative about Romo and his failures, but the Cowboys poor record in December under Romo is not about him, it's about him and his mediocre team combined. He had the 32nd ranked defense in the league, a defense that had several starters on IR too boot, and they expect him to carry that? Even Peyton Manning would look at that and say "f**k it." Another thing, since Jay Cutler is 1-8 versus the Packers in his career, can we no longer refer to this as a rivalry until Cutler is replaced at QB and some more parity is added to this series? Call me a a homer, but Ravens vs. Steelers def best current rivalry in NFL at the moment, even when both teams have down years.

Andy Reid wasn't even that good of a coach.

He was good.. He was consistent. He had a good eye for talent.. The players seem to like to play for him.. And he just took a a team who won 2 games last year to the playoffs..

All in all, not bad..

Andy Reid needs a good defense and he needs someone else to make that happen. That's true at KC just like it was in Philadelphia. As soon as the juggernaut known as Jim Johnson died, the Reid era in Philly effectively have way to an era of treading water. Maybe he's a great offensive coordinator, but he's not a great head coach. The Eagles were a horrendously undisciplined organization by the time he was done with them.
