NFL guys are definitely victims of a heartless industry, in regards to the concussion debate. I think that is actually an excellent analogy.
Sure, who doesn't want to be a football star? But do they really really understand everything that is involved? No way. These are people that are being used up and thrown away once their purpose has been served

I don't think it's a fair analogy. What kind of damage do porn stars sustain? In extreme cases they can't poop without using enemas, but that's unusual.

Eh, you guys have to consider the type of girl that does porn. They come in damaged. I don't think the negative outcomes you see for most pornstars are the result of porn. Usually it's the result of whatever led her to porn in the first place.
