Watch the other Gangnam Style video. The one with Hyuna singing it. That one has LOTS of meaning. At least, it means that my pulse is going to quicken a bit. Holy crap, is that a nice video to watch.

Everything about gangnam style can be explained succinctly. No pudgy white dude is supposed to dance that well. I recognize he's Asian. Still. It's never happened. John Belushi got close... but this is a different level for out of shape light skinned people.

If you listen carefully to the Korean lyrics, it's a criticism of Korea's materialistic culture. It's up there with Machiavelli's criticism of his own culture through writing of The Prince.

the prince wasn't a criticism of italian culture. and gangnam is just poking fun at the bevelry hill valley girls of korea.

Me thinks you should read into Psy's lyrics some more. The name Psy itself is short for Psychology. His lyrics contain deep analysis of the Korean mindset.

Machiavelli wasn't criticizing Italian culture but was criticizing the royal culture in how they approach governing.
