Deliberately left out shows that were primarily meant for children (except SpongeBob). And sorry if I've left out any obvious ones I'll restart if I have.

But what's your favourite animated TV show?

personal favorite? South Park

I enjoy almost all of those but futurama is da best.

I don't really watch the rest but put them up because they seem popular.

caveat: These are my personal faves taken as a whole. Family Guy is better than South park at some things, and The Simpsons has more rounded characters than either but isn't as edgy. Of course, neither SP or FG would exist without The Simpsons.

Can we only count the first decade of the Simpsons?

I can watch an entire episode of that show and never even crack a smile.
