There had better not be a rap renaissance. I prefer my rap "old skool" (NWA, Easy E, Ice Cube, etc.) and my rock modern.

I always listen to rap to get a feel of how the economy is doing. If they're on a Yacht then I know the economy is doing well. If their lyrics go "hotel, motel, Holiday Inn, " I know America is experiencing a credit crunch.
