We've all talked for years. We have a pretty good understanding of what each other believes in.

So let's say that an alien species contacted our forum. They have technology that would allow whoever we elect to take over the world, sweeping aside any military opposition.

This person would be all-powerful, and for the sake of discussion, let's say they cannot be overthrown or killed, and the technology will always be under their control. The only drawback is that this technology will eventually kill the bearer, regardless of any measures he or she takes to prevent it.

Who would you vote for? I am going to disqualify Non from the start, as he is too busy defending our commune in Detroit from legal challenges to run a global empire.

My choice: John Galt. He'd go insane and end up cleansing the gene pool, but we'd at least be likely to start really focusing on space exploration and human immortality.

I like how you actually changed that shit up. I agree with your decision to swap Menson and Indy. Indy would just rant and rave all the time, Menson would throw us into God's cages until we decide to confess our sins.

Well I really started phoning the whole line of succession thing after I'm presumably dead. But yeah I figured it would beat if Menson is only in charge when he's the last one left.

By the way I'd be an awesome ruler for like 20 minutes. Then I'd get bored and things would take a very bad turn.
