With all the identity theft and government monitoring going around, I'm surprised to find how much personal information people divulge here on the forum and in other forums. To help us understand the severity, let's get a count of what has been divulged here.

on your poll, only photo and marital status. "current city" too i guess, but i am never in the same city for more than a few weeks so that doesn't make a difference.

Current city and thats it. Won't be sharing my name, pictures, anything but the vaguest passing comments about my friends and family, work info, etc. I come here to speak freely, so I see no reason to offer anything up that may link my RL info back to some of my more....unsavory....moments here.

I move too much for the location info to be useful. Job is probably the only one not on the list that some people will know.

A good subtitle for this thread would be "IF THERE IS ANY INFORMATION ADVERTISERS, SPAMMERS, SCAMMERS, OR GOV. OFFICIALS HAVE MISSED, PLEASE ALERT THEM TO THE EXISTENCE OF SUCH USEFUL INFO! MUCH OBLIGED!

For me...marital status, career field, some educational history, and state of residence. That's all.
