How Do You Tell Your Family You Love Them

... without them thinking that you're dying? I call my family to update them on events in my life, but I never tell them how much they mean to me. It's not our thing I guess. I don't want to die without telling them, but I'm not dying and I don't know what would be a good time to tell them without them thinking I'm dying.

I just tell them. Since they're my family I usually just say what's on my mind.

I don't think it needs to be verbalized. Say it with your actions.

Say "You know, I don't say this enough, and I don't want you to think I'm dying or anything, but I really love you."
Then tell them you have cancer.

You could always estrange yourself from them and then you wouldn't have to.
