it's made by the guy who made lost, right?

it seems like the exact same premise in a different setting. purgatory and how those who are in it deal with it.

I never watched Lost but yeah it's the same guy.

It's not really purgatory. 2% of the population disappeared which is some startling shit but otherwise it's still just the present day world. Everyone on the show is gloomy as f**k though which is just the way the show is. The whole world wouldn't just be gloomy years after. Maybe some people who couldn't get over losing someone close but not every single person.

'this is the end' is surprisingly good considering i really can't stand half of the people in it most of the time, but as they were mocking themselves for why i can't stand them it was alright

yeah but it's pretty clear it's borrowing from the whole "left behind" idea. it might not literally be purgatory but the concept is the same.

Also HBO series and no tits wtf. Though it hardly matters. All the female characters who aren't underage are olds.

how does that necessarily show it isn't purgatory and the show isn't based off the rapture?
