Aren't guys more attracted to women who take care of themselves?

I grew up in f**k nowhere Wisconsin and had all these fantasies and presumptions about dating a "big city girl" once I got older. Then I eventually realized my dream was actually just to live in the city with an interesting and attractive girl, which made things a lot easier.
Best girl I ever dated was a stunning redhead philosophy major that grew up on a farm in Iowa. Maybe I just have a thing for philosophy majors, though. Idk.
