I'm very much looking forward to watch the greatest teams in the world compete in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Russia plays Saudi Arabia tomorrow and I'm looking forward to Russia punishing the Saudi team. I'm really looking forward to the German team's games and Argentina's particularly.
It's really an embarrassment that the United States team didn't even qualify.

Let the Europeans have soccer, Jesus Christ. You don't have to take over every sport on the planet, let alone one as shit as soccer.

Yea I have tickets for a few matches hoping I can get off to attend. Should be a fun time but Germany or Brazil probably wins.
USA will also be hosting the 2026 World Cup, just announced today. Final will be in NYC so should be incredible

just say something like "krasivaja popka" to chicks and i'm sure you'll be fine, and at the bar just "ya hochu vodki, suka blyat"
as for the other crap, yeah US/Can/Mex gets the 2026 games. so what. a bunch of degenerates from around the world will come to watch a so-called game that is somehow less exciting than f**k baseball
i was talking to my tovarishi and only one of them likes soccer but can't go to any game because tickets are 25k rubles aka 400 real american dollars

Yea I'm pretty set if I can go - have friends in moscow, family going to one of the matches, friends from states going to another. I got my tix for 100 for one game and 200 for another. Looking at 500 or so though if I want to go to a knockout round game in moscow.
2026 will be awesome. World Cup final in NYC! The bid estimated $10 billion in profit for fifa so economic benefits will be huge. Literally no one would show up for a world cup of baseball - whereas 2026 world cup will be the biggest sporting event in the history of mankind. you are dead f**k wrong here and while I may entertain chants of boring from football or basketball fans, I sure as shit won't from a f**k baseball fan, a sport so slow its put in the same category as bowling and golf.

unlike baseball where you can leave and get beer and come back and nothing has changed, soccer never has the possibility where you can leave to get beer and come back and everything changed while in baseball this can certainly happen. at most there might be a goooooaaaaaaalllllllll scored but that's it. and baseball is superior because it requires WINNERS. soccer should be sudden death after regulation, and regulation should be a countdown timer managed so that time stops when play stops for "injuries" and we, the viewer, can clearly see what that is. shootouts are the worst thing in any team sport
but it's fine to have it here. i'm fine with taking money from all those visitors from other countries. it's why we also host things like the crokinole championship. yeah sure no one cares about it here but other people care about it and want to watch (i don't mean to degrade crokinole though, it's far superior)

shows a video of them wasting time and not doing anything while the clock runs, how is this exciting? how does it even help your point? that's something i would show about how worthless the sport is
coca-cola is not ambrosia simply because it is popular. that's not an argument for anything inherently good about it but i think the only reason its so popular in america is we have a bunch of immigrants from shitholes, not that it's popular with the natives
