Youtube issues

Hey I was wondering if anyone is running into any issues with youtube on their pc.

Everytime I go to youtube.com or try clicking a link somewhere involving a youtube video I end up getting this.

It happens in IE and FireFox.

Is this a cookies issue? Im not a computer expert and the last time I ended up deleting my cookies I ended up with a virus, so whats going on here.

I haven't touched my cookies or anything and this only happens on youtube, other websites are fine.

I watched the video just fine, and Im watching an embedded video on another website just fine.

Weird.

Ya. Remove flash (for both platforms), then reinstall it.

I've never seen that problem myself, however it looks as though a browser plugin is trying to play the videos as a picture file or something.

My advice would be to disable your browser plugins and then turn them back on 1 at a time to see which one is causing the problem.

So I haven't been home all day to my desktop but I was here at my university with a friend who has a MacBook and it did the exact same thing to him through safari from our universities internet. Im wondering if its maybe a local issue or if this is something else entirely. My issue happened through my desktop which isn't connected to our schools internet
