Are there really any trustworthy reliable economic indicators at this point in time? How does one predict what a body will do, when the body has been injected with so much disease and unhealthy remedies?

Economic forecast is more voodoo these days than 'will do'.

I'm not going to look at a scenario that's different from the recent past, examine data, and then disregard any plausible explanations simply because the environment isn't what I'm used to. That's dumb.

And the blog is well sourced, utilizes good databases, and coherent. If you want to indict calculated risk you go ahead, but that place is a treasure trove.

Im just wondering what is supposed to spark the next economic boomtimes anyway? Income for alot of people is going to be welfare or menial wage work, my guess is the new fleamarket economy will adjust to that. But their will probably always be a few high rollers sprinkled in.Just like the Concorde did not revolutionize air travel, but became a museum piece instead.
