Interestingly enough there was something about this on The Daily Show last night. Apparently the Franken amendment to stop the rating agencies from getting paid for ratings was stripped out of the Dodd-Frank act... yeah we know who congress is working for.

Whats funny is that no one is raising a stink about it. You'd think there would be more outrage since we are currently in a depression...

Wouldn't the corporate media be paying them as well? Albeit, perhaps indirectly? However, for them Silence is Gold....en.
If they just shut up, like they have with all prosecution and crime in the organized financial criminal sector, then that probably sits well with the agencies and maybe the fed. DoJ won't want to be called out for jerking off on the job.
