http://www.helloquizzy.com/tests/the-ec ... ought-testA simple test to determine what school of economic thought one belongs to. Yes, the test is rather simplistic but I think it had me down accurately.
Good Econ Student!

You have believe in a free market, and that it has some self-maintaining qualities. You also have some Keynesian School remnants in your thought. You probably took economics, but actually paid attention. You might want to think out some of your methodological issues, but basically, you're on the right track!

"Protective tarriffs led to World War 2, and free trade is a good thing, even if the country with which you are trading doesn't reciprocate! Maintaining a balance of payments is an important federal responsibility, though."

It's somewhat accurate overall, but I wouldn't put more than moderate faith in the questions. I think their numerical analysis is pretty good, although the description is a bit off. I have faith in the "free" market to the extent it is warranted.

You are a Keynesian Economics student, but you also have a regard for fiscal conservatism. You should work to restore your faith in the free market, and come to understand the abstract economic laws that make the market interventionism you've acquired a taste for unnecessary.

Going back and making the test do other things to see how the describe it, sounds like it was probably written by some biased garden variety Lew Rockwell reader.
It's easy to make it say whatever school you want it to if you try and have a cursory understanding of Economics.

Be careful not to let your economic engine (jobs) be outscourced on a large scale, like we did.
